The Intu Shopping Centre in Derby has been taken over by Derbion, meaning the whole shopping centre required new signs. The installation contract was won by one of our local customers, Hardy Signs based in Burton on Trent.
This job required powered access machines across multiple areas, each with their own separate issues including height, outreach and gradient. Jordan helped out by completing a full site survey for Hardy Signs to ensure they had the right machines to get the job done.
Following this it was decided that two machines would be required. First was a HR21 boom, this machine has an impressive envelope for up and outreach and would cover large sections of the installations. The second machine was a 92/50 diesel scissor lift, this machine was required for the signage going up on the outer wall of the car park. This scissor lift made light work of the difficult spot allowing a reach of 17m as well as using the self-levelling stabilisers to deal with the slope below.
We have got to say the site looks great!
