RPE – Respiratory Protective Equipment This course is aimed at anyone who selects and uses RPE equipment (stone masons/decorators/people in dusty environments). The course covers different types of RPE, pre –use inspection RPE equipment, correct use and a test and re-test if required. Recent research indicated that up to 50% RPE does not give the protection it should, because it simply does not fit! This can expose employees to serious risks to their health. Face fit testing ensures that an adequate protective seal can be formed when wearing RPE. The test will provide reassurance to employees and help the company to comply with the law.
