One of the many benefits of this machine is its bi-energy power source. The electric source is provided by two packs of four 6v batteries (48v power system). For diesel operation, the Genie Z45/25(J) incorporates a Kubota Z482 13.3hp engine. The particularity of this machine is that, unlike other bi-energy machines, the Genie Z45/25(J) can run a lot of its functions solely from its diesel engine, even on completely flat batteries.
